I can't believe how light these shoes are. They look like they would be heavy. They do take a bit of getting used to but having them be able to glide along the ground is great for someone with MS and drop foot. I have even gone into shoe stores and asked for shoes that are more slippery at the bottom so I could slide my foot and they thought I was nuts. They all have grips at the bottom.

These shoes are preventing the falls i had before i purchased them. I have bilateral foot drop and now i have never tripped and fell since i purchased them.

Makes it so much easier and less stressful to walk!

I have drop foot from back issues and I know these shoes have prevented me from the numerous falls I suffered prior to my purchase. I hope a dress shoe is developed so one day I can walk down the isle with my daughter.

Quality built shoe!
I am a women’s size 11, so I had to order a men’s size 10. That was a good choice for me.
I am 6 foot tall so I didn’t need the 3 inch lift that these shoes give you but I understand why they are that thick.
They are amazing on carpet where I have foot drop/trip problems.
They do take some getting used to and you definitely want to be cautious on wet surfaces like blacktop or tile.
Happy I bought them.

These shoes have been a game changer for my husband with primary progressive MS.
As an experienced rehab professional, I was really stumped! After trying countless configurations of assistive devices and different types of shoes to help him walk safely ( with his walker) we’d given up and he began using a wheelchair whenever we left the house. The cadence sneakers have changed everything for us! We’ve already been to 3 restaurants and he walked into his doctor’s appointment (which was a delightful
shock to the office staff!) If you have foot drop or an associated problem with walking… these shoes are for you!

I got my Cadense shoes and cannot be more pleased with the quality and also my improvement walking, they open a new door for me. It is so much easier not to worry about how to walk but to walk instead. Easier to avoid tripping and falling. I do recommend these shoes for anyone who wants to improve walking. Cannot wait to see all the new opportunities ahead!

74 year old with MS. this shoe is a god send for anyone with drop foot. Consider it a must!! Only thing needed is for those of us who can’t bend down to attach Velcro on outside of shoe,, would be ability to close shoe on inside with leg crossed in lap.

I've been wearing my new shoes for a week now. I'm able to go for a walk now where as before I couldn't even think about it. When I was walking, I would drag my leg and my foot would stick to the ground. I even put insoles in them because my right foot swells and gets numb. So far it's working. I would highly recommend these shoes.

Love the shoes. Still learning to use them. Getting there slowly. Wish you could have more colors available in my size. Ordered a blue pair that won’t be available until September. Hoping these shoes will decrease my falls from shuffling. Also wish there were slippers to wear like the shoes.

I ordered a 9 wide which was the size of my New Balance and the fit is good. I need expansion available due to feet swelling and the Cadense have a small amount so getting a size big enough is vital. I saw Dr. Gretchen Hawley's review of the shoes and they perform exactly as she demonstrated. I have mostly carpet and of course they slide much more easily on tile but they do
slide on the carpet too. I am on my 3rd week so far. I am hoping that the "slide" capability won't "wear off." Due to the fact that they do slide it is important to remember to continue to try to lift your foot if you are working on getting improved walking function. The "how to" video demonstrates them as easy to slip on, but if you have mobility issues it's not quite as easy as the demonstration. I am completely satisfied so far and feel like they are worth the cost. I can get around much better than I could before I got these shoes.

With the shoes and my brace I am almost tempted to not use my cane.
