Meet Ambassador Evie Orr
Evie Orr, a Glasgow-based advocate, has lived with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) since she was 16. Over the years, her journey has transformed from hiding her diagnosis to embracing disability pride. Initially reluctant to identify as "disabled," Evie’s experiences—particularly a challenging moment at work and her time at the Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living—led her to embrace her condition and challenge internalized ableism. Today, she proudly navigates life with MS, advocating for visibility and inclusion, and embodying the resilience and creativity that comes with living with a disability.

Evie Orr, a dedicated MS advocate, has recently begun her journey with Cadense Adaptive Shoes to help manage her foot drop and mobility challenges. As her MS becomes more progressive, Evie has found that these innovative shoes offer her the support she needs to build walking stamina and confidence. She's especially impressed by how easy the shoes are to put on, even using her weaker hand. Excited about the potential these shoes hold for improving her daily life, Evie is eager to continue exploring their benefits as she adapts to her evolving condition.
