AERIO Women's Sandal-Slide Hybrid

I have a black and a white pair of the sandals, along with 5 of the shoes. I also use the toe assist kits as I have significant toe drop - they make walking so much easier. I also walk out of some shoes (that don’t sit high on the top of foot) and had concerns about the sandals, so I purchased fabric Velcro and superglued (could also hand sew) on the outer side of strap with sandals own strap “velvro- ing” over it and on the inside I attach it to the other side of the back strap. Easy on and easy off. I returned a pair of the Havana slippers because I was afraid of walking out of them, but I’m going to repurchase a pair and do the same as I have with the sandals. Beige Velcro will work with them. I love all of my Cadense shoes - they are stylish enough so I don’t feel like I’m wearing utilitarian shoes. Boots of some sort for winter would be wonderful. Thanks Cadense for helping so many of us.

Thank You!! My daughter is in her 40's and has been struck by MS and LS DDD. This has just really hit her fast and hard. She went from a tractor driver helping with farming and even cutting metal for our business. Once she was informed about this horrible disease she started working in a business office and walking was getting so very difficult. She uses a cane and now was informed she would be needing a brace. I surprised her with these sandals and she is amazed how well they make walking much easier. She has foot drop and very weak legs now. These are a lifesaver for her. We are waiting for her shoes to come now. Thank You for making these incredible shoes!

I don’t usually write reviews—but this one matters.

I have been struggling with foot drop and instability, and finding something that actually helps without feeling bulky, medical, or uncomfortable has been incredibly difficult.

These shoes? They WORK.

From the moment I put them on, I noticed the difference. My foot and toes are no longer catching the floor. I can actually lift and move forward more naturally—even without my brace. That alone brought me to tears.

And that matters more than anything.

Design-wise, this is genius. It doesn’t feel like a “medical shoe”—it feels wearable, practical, and thoughtful.

My only feedback?

PLEASE make these in more colors and more styles.
People like me don’t just need function—we want options, expression, and the ability to feel good in what we’re wearing too.

I will absolutely be buying more.

Aerio Women’s Sandals size 11 Black

I like the sandals a lot! Due to numbness in a portion of both feet, it feels as if I’m walking on rocks. The construction of the sandals takes the pressure off my toes. Balance is more stable.

One suggestion colors, please

I am flat footed, recently completed 2 major surgeries, shoulder replacement & open heart; increased new meds make me dizzy, wearing these amazing secure wonderful sandals gives me confidence walking in my house that I won’t falll. They’re cool, I wear with socks going out. Am so glad & grateful to God that I was blessed to discover Cadense. I’m 79.

I have MS and foot drop on my right foot. These sandals have been life changing and the single best adaptive product I have ever bought. They don't look adaptive but have definitely helped me walk with a more normal gait. Life changing!!

I needed a Cadense shoe for summer. These shoes are great. Easy to wear and comfortable fit.

Fit great, look nice and I get compliments all the time! Very comfortable and it is great to have a sense of normalcy wearing sandals!

Love them. I feel confident during my walks when I am wearing them.

With the same advantages as the tennis shoe Cadense has the same support in a sandal. Finally I can complete my summer outfit with a comfortable pair of sandals!

They are lightweight and make it so much easier to walk! I wish they came in half sizes.

My drop foot post-stroke was never bad enough to require an AFO. However, a year prior to the AERIO purchase, I had gone through of series of falls. Cadense had sneakers - I got them and HAVE NOT FALLEN A SINGLE TIME SINCE! When I saw they had come out with sandals, I KNEW I had to get them, STAT.

I like to have my toes out when I'm at home so I bought these sandals even though style wise they aren't my cup of tea. These sandals helped me through my recovery from knee surgery by keeping me comfortable and confident moving around my home.
