How Do I Purchase with an HSA or FSA Card?

Purchasing Cadense shoes with your HSA or FSA funds is simple. You can check out on our website just as you would with any other credit or debit card.

  1. Add your preferred Cadense Adaptive Shoes to your cart.
  2. Proceed to checkout and enter your shipping information.
  3. Use your HSA or FSA debit card as the payment method during checkout.
  4. Complete your purchase—no additional steps are required.

Since Cadense uses Shopify Payments, your HSA or FSA card is processed just like a regular credit card. If your HSA or FSA card does not go through, you may need to check your available balance or contact your provider for more information.

What If My HSA or FSA Card is Declined?

If your HSA or FSA card is declined at checkout, it may be due to insufficient funds or specific plan restrictions. Here’s what you can do:

  • Ensure you have enough funds in your HSA or FSA account.
  • Check with your provider to confirm that Cadense shoes qualify under your plan.
  • Use a regular credit card to complete your purchase and submit the receipt to your provider for reimbursement.

Many HSA/FSA providers allow manual reimbursement. If your purchase is eligible, you can submit your order receipt to your plan administrator for potential reimbursement.

Can I Split My Payment Between an HSA/FSA Card and Another Card?

Some HSA and FSA providers allow partial authorization, meaning you can pay for part of your order with your HSA or FSA card and the rest with a regular credit or debit card. If your provider does not allow partial payments, you may need to use another payment method and submit a receipt for reimbursement.

Returns & Refunds for HSA/FSA Purchases

Cadense offers a 30-day risk-free trial, allowing you to try the shoes and return them if they’re not the right fit.

  • If you paid with an HSA or FSA card, refunds must be processed back to the same card per IRS regulations.
  • Refunds will be issued within 10 business days of receiving the return.
  • Only open and active HSA or FSA accounts are eligible for refunds.
